Former Ted Baker executive Ricky Green has joined the board of Cumbria-based retailer Herdy.
Green (pictured) was Global Wholesale and Partnerships Director for Ted Baker before leaving earlier this year having spent 25 years at the fashion retailer.
Spencer Hannah, co-founder and director of Herdy, said: “The survive plan deployed in April to help ride the pandemic wave worked but in these challenging times for any business there are unpredictable waters ahead. The revive/thrive plan starts now.
“Ricky’s a good guy and a great fit. He brings big brand experience and a ‘London eye’ to compliment the team. We haven’t decided on a role title yet (prefer to avoid the usual corporate jargon) but we are united in our belief that the timing for this business move on couldn’t be better.”
Established in 2010, Herdy has four shops in the Lake District and recently redesigned its website with the help of Manchester’s PushON.
Green said: “It is with great pleasure and an abundance of enthusiasm that I join the Herd. I look forward to the journey ahead and I am excited about the shape of things to come.”
