Martin Bryant, the Manchester-based journalist, who was previously Editor-in-Chief at The Next Web, has set up a new consultancy.
Big Revolution has been established to help technology and media companies align their products, marketing and mission.
He explained that it was a “language-focused” strategy consultancy:
“After going freelance, I deliberately kept my offering broad so I was open to as many opportunities as possible,” he said.
“The most common requests came from companies wanting help shaping the language they used about their products and how they marketed them.
“This goes deeper than copywriting. We’re a trusted ally bringing fresh eyes to our clients, helping them fuse their product strategy, communications strategy and internal comms into a cohesive whole.”
He added that this was aimed primarily at start-ups and growth-stage businesses and was intended to provide “simple, clear messaging for companies and their products, using that language to shape how they position their products, and how they think about them internally.”
After TNW, Bryant became community editor at Tech North, before going freelance.
