Manchester PR agency Galibier has announced it has appointed a number of new hires, including senior appointments joining its leadership team.
The first of the new senior hires is Danny Turnbull, former Managing Director at creative agency Gyro, who will join the agency as Non-Executive Director. In his new role, he will work to advise and help guide the team with its recent account wins.
Turnbull previously worked with Galibier founder Oliver Chesher, who worked under him from 2005 to 2010 at Gyro.
The agency has also hired Hannah Dawson, who rejoins the agency in a leadership role following a stint in the public sector. Dawson initially started her PR career at Galibier’s Manchester HQ.
Georgia Burns joins the operational management team, who has risen through the ranks since joining Galibier after graduating from Cambridge University in 2020. She has been promoted to account manager with responsibility for media relations and stakeholder communications campaigns.
The final new hire is Marta Santi, who joins Galibier as an account executive in her first agency role.
Galibier founder Oliver Chesher said: “Having the best people is fundamental because it’s an investment in a new, more mature, more accountable business. We’re not focusing solely on revenue growth – we also need to grow in terms of better processes, bigger reputation and bigger ambitions, and these are the people that will take us there.”
