The PHA Group has appointed former BBC journalist Robin Brant as associate director of reputation, with a remit to grow the agency’s C-suite training and advisory offering.
Brant, who will report to Tim Jotischky, divisional managing director of reputation, brings 25 years of media experience to his new role, having reported on political and global issues across digital, TV and radio. During a stellar career at the BBC, his roles included China Correspondent (2015-2022), Political Correspondent (2011-2015) and BBC News Correspondent and Presenter (2022-4).
Brant’s expertise includes longer-form content production in a wide range of international and UK-based roles, predominantly reporting on politics, international affairs and global trade. As well as spending seven years in China for the BBC, he reported from Hong Kong, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan and Washington.
He will work with Tim Jotischky to expand The PHA Group’s media training, crisis mitigation and corporate advisory services for clients across the agency, as well as working with his own portfolio of clients in the Reputation division.
Brant said: “This is a big moment for me and I’m glad to have found a team and an organisation that provides the ambition and opportunity that I’ve been looking for. It’s a match for my desire to make the most of my experience and expertise in my old career as I look to learn a lot in my new one.”
