Flow Creative has worked with national charity the Mental Health Foundation on the visual identity and a suite of materials for its flagship annual campaign.

This year’s theme, Kindness, was agreed upon in light of the coronavirus outbreak and is focused on increasing awareness of how even simple acts of kindness can help people through challenging times.

Flow created the brand identity, as well as a range of print and digital content, social graphics and Instagram stickers. The Northern Quarter-based studio also animated a film to promote the national week’s awareness, understanding and support.

Flow’s creative director, Karl Doran, said: “They were a dream client for us in a lot of ways, a fantastic organisation doing really positive work to help people that might be having a difficult time.

“We worked collaboratively with their comms team to develop a creative treatment that balances the seriousness of the subject matter with a playful, engaging style that feels accessible and encourages people to find out more and support the campaign.”

Linda Liao, digital manager at the Mental Health Foundation, added: “We’ve loved collaborating with the team – they really understood what we were trying to do, were flexible in their approach and the campaign materials they’ve produced are amazing.”

Mental Health Awareness Week launched yesterday and runs until Friday.
