First Event appoints Creative Director

Corporate event management agency, First Event, has named Marc Allott as its new Creative Director.

Allott has more than 25 years experience in the industry and joins from Ride Shotgun, where he was Senior Creative Director. 

Before that he was Creative Strategy Director at ICF Next and also spent over a decade at Vista.

“From the outset I have been impressed by the company-wide passion for our clients and the industry,” he said.

“Events is an industry that doesn’t sit still, and creativity is a skill that can’t sit still either. I’m excited to capitalise on this constant movement to create a really bright future with First Event. We’re already off to a great start, and I’ve been blown away by how the entire team is eager to find new ways to progress and develop, together.

“I’m looking forward to helping First Event grow, offering value in new ways to meet the evolving needs of our clients”. 

Also joining the Leeds company is former DRPG and Fresh Group senior staffer, Alex Stonall, who becomes Account Director.
