Senior industry figures from Klaviyo and Weetabix are among the confirmed speakers who will take to the stage in the Marketing Masterclass Theatre at this year’s Digital City Expo.

With an exciting line-up of speakers already announced, you can hear from Weetabix about how the brand went viral with a single tweet to how to successfully build relationships with customers from Klaviyo, a US-headquartered customer data and marketing automation platform.

This year’s Digital City Expo, the main event at Digital City Festival which unites the global digital sector from Greater Manchester and beyond, will take place on March 9th and 10th at Manchester Central. 

Manchester Central will play host to thousands of attendees and digital professionals who will unite at the event to collaborate, network and hear inspiring talks from industry thought-leaders.

The likes of Weetabix, Klaviyo and Wunderkind are just a handful of the key industry names joining this year’s exciting line-up in the Marketing Masterclass Theatre at the expo.

D2C growth hacking: How Piglet in Bed scaled ecommerce growth at super-speed

Senior figures from consumer engagement platform Wunderkind and bedwear and linen brand Piglet in Bed will discuss how the brand has been able to rapidly scale since 2017.

Wunderkind’s Executive Director, Richard Aldridge, and Piglet in Bed’s CMO, Jake Newbould, will take to the stage at 10.10am on March 9th. 

The duo will discuss what it takes to build a successful D2C ecommerce brand from the ground up and dig into the creative, brand and digital strategies that have underpinned the brand’s journey. 

Real Living 2021: How are we using digital devices today? What’s changed? And what does it mean for advertising?

You can hear from Hannah Bewley, IAB’s Senior Research Manager, who will take to the stage in the Marketing Masterclass Theatre at 12:40pm on March 9th.

During the discussion she will discuss how IAB UK, the industry body for digital advertising, has released Real Living – a study revealing how consumers engage with online media and what this means for brands.

Make Your Content Work Harder: Repurposing for Reach, Recognition and Revenue

Katie Thompson, the Head of Content Marketing at content marketing agency Katie Lingo, will speak at 2.20pm on March 9th. In this talk, she will explore how to get the most out of your content.

How to build relationships with your customers: With Klaviyo and The Couture Club

During an exciting panel on March 10th at 10.10am, Klaviyo will be hosting senior figures from The Couture Club, a rapidly-growing fashion brand based in Manchester. 

Klaviyo’s Senior Director of Customer Success Ben Miller will be joined by The Couture Club’s MD Scott Shashua and Creative Director Ross Worswick to delve into how to build relationships with customers.

Within this masterclass, attendees can hear from Amy Woods, CEO and founder at content repurposing company Content 10x.

Weetabix & Beanz – the story behind the tweet that broke the internet

Finally, ever wondered what led to Weetabix’s “tweet that broke the internet”?

At Digital City Expo you can! At 3:10pm on March 10th, Weetabix’s Head of Marketing Gareth Turner will share the story behind the brand’s iconic crossover with Heinz Beanz through a social post which hit 1.3 billion views.
