Wigan IT and managed networks provider EvolveODM is expanding into Yorkshire with the acquisition and incorporation of Sheffield mobile telecoms provider 4G Voice and Data under the EvolveODM brand.
The deal includes the retention of all 4G voice and Data employees thanks to the businesses’ complementary service offerings.
The news marks EvolveODM’s second major acquisition in three months. The company bought GB3 from EG Group in November 2022, with a stated aim of creating a ‘Lancashire Powerhouse” at the time. The Greater Manchester HQ’d company’s Northern presence now extends to Yorkshire too.
4G Voice and Data was founded in 2012 and specialises in the B2B mobile telecommunications market working with all major UK mobile networks.
EvolveODM’s current customers include household name retail, hospitality, leisure, fuel and food brands including Robinsons and Hydes Breweries, KFC, Starbucks, ESSO and BP. EvolveODM will enter new markets as part of the incorporation, serving 4G’s existing customer base in manufacturing and construction.

EvolveODM’s current growth plans include increasing its network management footprint from 7,500 locations to 15,000 within the next three years, with a focus on creating local jobs.
