Evoke Creative appoints new CEO

BGF-backed, Birkenhead-based Evoke Creative Ltd has announced the appointment of Peter Edwards as CEO.

Edwards will guide the organisation through its next phase of growth, accelerating Evoke’s progress as an end-to-end digital solutions manufacturer and service provider. The business plans to concentrate on cementing long-term client relationships, the growth of added value services, expansion into new sectors and further growth in the US, Europe and Australia under its new leadership.

Evoke was founded by Neil Clark and Dean Ward, who both remain shareholders following the appointment. Clark will act as global brand ambassador for new customers, originating new strategic and innovation partnerships, while Ward continues as CTO.

Clark said: “We’re proud to announce the appointment of such a high-calibre CEO in Peter as we look ahead to accelerated growth for Evoke. Peter’s combination of sector experience and commercial drive make him the ideal candidate to lead the business into its next chapter.”

Edwards has spent more than 20 years delivering IT solutions to the retail and hospitality sectors, including most recently 11 years as COO of Edinburgh-based EPoS business, Zonal.

Given the business’ proposition, strength of our team and the support of BGF as investors, there’s a significant opportunity to bring Evoke’s added value, focus on quality and innovation to a wider range of businesses than ever before.”

Evoke Creative is a specialist in kiosk manufacture, digital signage and interactive solutions for the retail, hospitality, and public sectors. Supplying complete interactive digital solutions, including self-service kiosks, consumer experience software, video walls, digital signage, interactive displays and payment terminals. It provides services to household names such as JD Sports, [TGI] Fridays, McDonald’s and Asda. It received a £6m investment from BGF in 2018.
