Jon Edwards has been named Head of Sales at Social Chain offshoot, Media Chain.
Edwards joins from LADbible where he was Brand Partnerships Account Director. He was part of the original commercial set up at UNILAD, which was later bought by LADbible.
“I’m very honoured to be joining Media Chain and to work on developing their commercial offering across their vast and progressive portfolio of brands,” he said.
“To have the opportunity to work on fantastic brands like SPORF, Student Problems and GameByte among many others, alongside some of the best entrepreneurial thought leaders in the social space at a time of ambitious growth, excites me. I look forward to seeing what the future of Media Chain holds.”
He will be based at the Manchester firm’s London office and will have responsibility for all of its brand partnership sales across the UK.
