World-renowned magician, Dynamo, is “set to be killed by his creator” in a live 2 hour special.
Dynamo is Dead will air on Sky Max and NOW, with the Bradford magician burying himself alive.
According to Sky, he will dig his own grave, before climbing in to prepare for “his perilous and climactic feat six feet under, which will culminate in him laying Dynamo rest.”
While globally famous for walking on water, levitating above skyscrapers and his close-up magic, Dynamo has had well-documented mental health struggles. During the live special, he’s expecting to “go on a journey of both loss and hope.”
However, he is now looking to move into the next phase of his life and career, through his “rebirth”.
Viewers will also follow Dynamo’s journey through conversations between him and famous faces including Tyson Fury, Demi Lovato, Coldplay and Cara Delevingne.
The 1×120” show was commissioned by Phil Edgar-Jones, Director of Sky Arts and Entertainment, for Zai Bennett, Managing Director of Content at Sky. The Commissioning Editor for Sky is Shirley Jones.

Dynamo is Dead will air live at 9pm on Sky Max and streaming service NOW on 14 December in the UK.
