Sportswear brand Castore is expanding its global footprint with easily alphabetised store openings in Dubai and Dublin.
The Andy Murray-backed brand, which was founded in 2015 by Wirral brothers Phil and Tom Beahon, is also opening a new store in Bluewater, the UK’s second largest shopping centre. The Dubai Mall, site of Castore’s new Middle East expansion, meanwhile, claims to be the world’s largest shopping mall, though attention to flooring metrics offers many alternatives.
Castore’s concept stores will be showcasing the brands latest men’s and women’s collections – Zone, Flow and Apex – alongside teamwear for Mclaren and Redbull, as well FAI and Leinster merchandise.
Castore is also planning internal developments at its Manchester HQ, with the introduction of an in-house store concept offering a dual use for retail visual merchandising.
In the last 12 months the brand has opened 25+ retail sites and e-commerce websites. The expansion has seen the addition of over 250 employees across Europe, and within the brand’s home city of Manchester.
Co-founder Beahon said: “We are constantly thinking about our growth plans and the brand expansion, to ensure we’re edging closer to our mighty ambition for Castore to be the world’s number one premium sports brand. We are incredibly proud to announce these new store openings, alongside the introduction of our store within Dubai Mall, allowing us to make our mark in the Middle East and be surrounded in good company of many prestigious brands.
“We’re thrilled to also be investing into our HQ in Manchester and expanding our team. We have exciting plans for 2024 and can’t wait to take our employees and customers on this journey with us as we continue to grow.
“It’s a very exciting time for Castore, as we’re determined to continue this growth trajectory and position the brand as a key player in the retail sports market, both locally in Manchester, nationally and overseas too.”
The latest additions to Castore’s global store footpring join existing stores in Manchester, London, Edinburgh, Glasgow and at Silverstone, the home of the British Grand Prix, as well as its extensive ecommerce offering.
