Hospitality group Drake & Morgan has appointed Roland Dransfield to launch a new Manchester bar.
The Manchester agency, which launched its consumer division 11 months ago, won a competitive pitch to land the account to launch the Anthologist Bar & Restaurant in St Peter’s Square.
Its campaign will cover media relations, social media and digital plus organisation and management of the launch event itself.
The Anthologist will be Drake & Morgan’s second site in the city centre, the ‘big sister’ to The Refinery in Spinningfields. It operates more than 20 bars and restaurants across the UK, mainly in London.
A Drake & Morgan spokesman said: “The agency’s pitch demonstrated unrivalled expertise and creativity underpinned by a solid contacts book full to the brim with the city’s best influencers. Roland Dransfield were the clear favourites when it came to appointing the right agency to bring The Anthologist to Manchester.”.
The Anthologist launches at St Peter’s Square in Manchester on July 2nd this year, with an invite-only launch party planned for July 5th.
Earlier this year, Roland Dransfield was appointed to handle the PR for the launch of Manchester restaurant 20 Stories.
