Manchester consumer PR consultancy Down at the Social has been appointed by Rockstar Spirits to support its growth.
The consultancy takes over PR duties from Tom Hurst, founder of the rum brand, who had previously run all PR and marketing himself.
Manchester-based Rockstar Spirit was launched in 2018 by Hurst, who left a career in the drinks industry to launch the rum brand.
Down At The Social will lead a full PR campaign for Rockstar Spirits, including media and influencer relations and creative campaigns designed to generate brand awareness.
Hurst said “I have been looking for the right partner to work with this year for a while and knew that the Down at the Social team had the right knowledge and experience the moment I met them.”

Down at the Social adds Rockstar Spirits to a client base of North West alcohol brands which has included Zymurgorium, Diablesse Rum, Didsbury Gin, Manchester Gin and Batch Brew.
