Don’t be a tool: Oomph urges SME’s to take CRM action ahead of budget

Oomph CRM has revealed plans to kick-start an SME revolution ahead of the anticipated Autumn Budget by giving small business owners the tools they need to level the playing field and overcome the challenges posed by today’s market.

The software, developed by Oomph Works and owned by ACI Group, is a full-featured Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution that enables businesses to manage and nurture their contacts, automate time-consuming admin tasks, boost productivity, and generate insightful reports.

As small and medium-sized companies face unprecedented challenges in the form of continued price rises, political instability around the world, and supply chain disruptions, Oomph has been touted as a way for SMEs to punch above their weight and find stability in a volatile market.

As part of its efforts to spread the word among SMEs, Oomph recently launched a nationwide ad campaign titled Don’t Be A Tool. The campaign humorously portrays small business owners using wildly inappropriate tools to get the job done, emphasising the importance of having the right resources. Through this creative approach, Oomph aims to resonate with entrepreneurs and highlight the value of its CRM solution in helping SMEs achieve efficiency and growth.

“Oomph is the CRM tool made by SMEs, for SMEs,” said Karsten Smet, CEO at Oomph. “We got tired of seeing innovative SMEs that were held back from reaching their full potential by tools that just aren’t suited to their needs – so many are making do with CRM software that’s too complex and expensive, or too bare-bones for a business of their size.

“We wanted to level the playing field for those SMEs by giving them a CRM tool that just works – so that’s what we did. A little Oomph goes a long way, because it’s built around what SMEs need from the ground up. That means importing contacts, nurturing relationships, and integrating with accounting software is a breeze.”

Oomph can be integrated with the Xero accounting platform, a popular software choice among SMEs. This ensures it can generate invoices and synchronise tax rates, eliminating any potential for human error when dealing with evolving taxation and other financial legislation, which is expected to shift further in the Autumn Budget this October.

“No one knows exactly what is in store this October,” added Smet. “But one thing you can be sure of is that when you’ve got Oomph, you’ve got the flexibility and agility to be ready for anything.”
