Disney+ has released a new trailer for its upcoming series, Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story.
Set to premiere on the streaming service next week, the 3-part documentary has been made by Dorothy Street Pictures and Lorton Entertainment.
The production gets exclusive access to Rooney and interviews with her family and legal team involved in the trial.
The show seeks to reveal how she turned amateur online sleuth to find an explanation for why private stories concerning herself and her family continued to appear in the media.
All of which led to the infamous Instagram “it’s….” post and the resultant defamation case.
The executive producers of the documentary are Julia Nottingham, Emma Tutty, Sam Starbuck, Julian Bird, Ed Barratt and Paul Stretford (Rooney’s agent). The series is directed and produced by Lucy Bowden.
