Digitl separates from Six and Flow after deal falls through

Five months after Six and Flow announced its acquisition of Digitl, the two agencies have confirmed that the deal won’t be going through.

“After an initial six-month trial period starting in June 2018 to test out a prospective merger, we are announcing that both companies are to resume our separate businesses,” said Digitl founder Darren Ratcliffe.

“Clients who have signed up to projects delivered jointly by us will see no impact on their current projects, and we have agreed to an ongoing strategic partnership.”

Ratcliffe founded Digitl in 2015 and the plan was that his entire team would move over to Six & Flow, with the combined agency targeting a £7.5m turnover within 4 years.

Digitl, which has clients including JD Sportsfashion and Soletrader has now set up in new offices in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

The agency reported revenues of £320k for the year ending October 2018 and Ratcliffe is aiming to double this over the next 12 to 18 months.
