Elite Group has announced that Rob Sims will join its board as director for strategy and business transformation.
Sims was previously chief executive of Nexus in Leeds, before it was acquired by Elite Group in the summer of last year.
“I’m delighted to be working with everyone at Elite to transform the business for the future. We will be looking at every part of Elite to see how we can improve overall performance and ensure we have a clear and substantive vision for the years that lie ahead,” he explained.
“We want to be the UK’s best-in-class, one-stop-shop for Unified Communications, Cloud and IT Services; delivering the highest quality service for all our customers from now to 2025 and beyond. It’s an exciting time for Elite, our employees, partners and customers.”
He will take up the position from 1st April.
“Following a review of the Elite business and looking ahead at what we want to achieve over the coming months and years, Rob has been tasked with delivering a new company-wide development programme to ensure Elite Group continues to be fit for purpose in an ever-changing, competitive market,” said Matt Newing, founder of Elite Group.
“He will bring many years of industry and commercial experience to the Board, notably around managing change and developing successful business strategies.”
