Digital gaming publisher moves 20 staff into Manchester’s Use Space

BGFG

Publishing company By Gamers For Gamers has moved its 20 staff to Use Space in central Manchester and plans to triple its headcount over the next 12 months.

The office has been created with a warehouse feel “to offer space for work and play” and includes an immersive racing Sim and Virtual Reality station, along with a purpose-built podcast and video studio.

BGFG’s ambition is to become the number one media publisher in the digital gaming sector.

Craig Kirkcaldy, co-founder of BGFG, said: “We’re thrilled to be a part of Use Space, the space itself is exactly what we were looking for. David and his team have been fantastic throughout the whole process and to be surrounded by creative people across sectors is an exciting opportunity.”

David Walter, founder of Use Space, added: “We’re really pleased to be welcoming BGFG to our Use family, BGFG has an impressive vision and exciting people behind it and that’s exactly what we look for at Use.”

The company has a number of brands under its gaming umbrella, including WePC, PC Guide, Esports Verdict and Which Laptop.

Its new home sits in the 14,000 sq ft campus of Use Space, which is located in Ardwick, just five minutes on foot from Piccadilly Station.
