Taking place between the 9th and 13th, the festival week will include the landmark Digital City Expo, keynote sessions from industry experts, as well as fringe events, giving people the chance to connect, collaborate and share knowledge and innovation across the digital sector.
The invitation-only event on the morning of March 9th will bring together an audience made up of influential local figures, event supporters, and press. The Manchester Mayor will take questions from the press at the official launch.
Burnham said: “It’s fantastic that Manchester has been chosen to host the first Digital City Festival. Events of this kind are key to delivering our ambition to be recognised as a world-leading digital city region and more importantly will unite the digital sector, create new partnerships and celebrate the people, businesses and organisations so instrumental to growing our influence on the world stage.”
