The Digital City Festival will be returning for a fourth year in March with a reimagined series of special events – and a new location.

The festival will play host to three unmissable events hosted by Prolific North: The Digital Leaders Summit, The Tech Debrief and Scaling for Growth.

These flagship events will be hosted by our partner Bruntwood SciTech at some of its stunning venues, including Circle Square in Manchester city centre and the Bright Building at Manchester Science Park.

The 2023 festival will gather thought-leaders from across the North to address the key challenges facing people, businesses and governments – and to celebrate the incredible talent and companies that keep the region at the forefront of innovation.

It will open with the invitation-only Digital Leaders Summit on Thursday 23rd March, where Northern digital and tech leaders will unpack the current challenges faced by the sector and discuss practical ways of improving the region’s digital infrastructure.

On Tuesday 28th March, The Tech Debrief will provide an inspirational forum for tech industry leaders to discuss how we ensure the sector is built on sustainable foundations, with a particular focus on tech for good, skills, talent and funding.

A special panel session on Wednesday 29th March, called Scaling for Growth, will see household brands discussing how companies can stand out in today’s marketplace, plus the intersection of brand building and performance.

You can find out more about each event, plus register your interest here.

Previous editions of the Digital City Festival have included an Expo, but after consultation with partners across the sector and the seismic degree to which the economy has changed in the last 12 months, we feel that a more bespoke and targeted series of events is the best way forward for the festival.

In the tradition of previous festivals, we are once again inviting ideas for Partner events to take place during Festival Week.

Whether you’re looking to host events about culture, transformation, music, tech or anything else, we can offer a dedicated package of support.

If you have an idea for an event and want to be part of Digital City Festival, email the team at hello@prolificnorth.co.uk and we’ll be in touch.
