Performance marketing agency Journey Further has appointed Deepa Shah – the former CFO at Publicis Sapient and Omnicom-owned Hall & Partners – as a non-executive director.
Shah will be working with agency founders, Robin Skidmore, Matt Kwiecinski and Chris Rowett to drive the success of the agency, with a particular focus on international expansion and supporting growth of a new consultancy arm.
CEO Skidmore said: “The current pandemic has presented many challenges for Journey Further but despite this, the business is still in an extremely strong position. I’m delighted to have someone of Deepa’s capability alongside us to support our growth.
“Deepa’s track record at some of the world’s biggest agency groups speaks for itself and her expertise will be invaluable as we start to explore acquisitions and new openings abroad now and through 2021.”
Shah added: “I am thrilled to join the Journey Further team during an incredibly exciting period for the company. I love working with ambitious businesses who see no end to their potential or growth, and Journey Further is certainly one of these.”
The Leeds, Manchester, and London-based agency is forecasting 45% year-on-year growth despite the coronavirus pandemic.
It employs 65 people and has clients including Sky, PrettyLittleThing, Evans Cycles, Villa Plus and Majestic Wine.
