DEPT is adding a string of high-profile new UK clients to its roster as it builds on its 400 per cent revenue growth to over £50m in the past two years.
Among the big new wins are Skyscanner, Mejuri and The Macallan, while DEPT is also expanding its relationship with Trainline and eBay.
After a successful pitch, supported by Ingenuity, premium scotch brand The Macallan awarded DEPT their social media channels strategy and management. The brief is to revitalise the brand’s presence on its owned social channels through a new strategy and activation plan rooted in platform first, digital innovation.
Global travel marketplace Skyscanner has also named the agency its Social AOR after a competitive pitch. Across Skyscanner’s core social channels, DEPT will deliver creative strategy, development, and production of social first ideas, including support with some smaller paid social tests.
For the fine jewellery brand Mejuri, the agency is improving customer experience through personalisation and optimisation and taking on design duties.
DEPT has worked with eBay across various service lines for over 15 years. It has now expanded its relationship with the global marketplace to deliver an upcoming full-funnel campaign, which also includes ATL. The work is currently in production and will go live later this Spring.
At Trainline DEPT has expanded its relationship from digital and paid campaigns to include always-on organic work, which covers TikTok, Instagram and influencer campaigns. The new organic social strategy aims to bring to life Trainline’s new brand platform Great Journeys Start With Trainline.
Joanna Trippett, managing director, DEPT UK, said: “We are delighted to add such a stellar list of brands to our UK portfolio – the wins exemplify growth from both our existing and new businesses across a rounded selection of services spanning both tech and marketing. Businesses come to DEPT for our integrated and highly-specialised offering helping them to disrupt their categories and stay ahead of the competition in a challenging market.”
As one of the fastest-growing markets for the agency globally, DEPT plans to continue to expand and invest in the UK. With a newly expanded leadership that includes Trippett, Alicja Lloyd, and Brian Robinson, the company’s hubs in London and Manchester are home to a collective team of over 500 specialists across experience, engineering, creative, and growth. In the next two years, DEPT expects its UK team to double in size, supporting the digital skills agenda and providing new job opportunities.
