Dentsu Aegis Network North has responded to rumours that it was looking to relocate its Manchester based to the former BBC site on Oxford Road.

It had been suggested that the company would move around 400 staff to the location, taking up 100,000sq ft of space.

The site, now rebranded Circle Square, is a joint venture between Bruntwood and Vita Group. Its first confirmed tenant was Hewlett Packard, which will take 20,000sq ft on the seventh floor from 2020. Reports suggest that BT is also considering moving into the space.

A spokesperson from Dentsu Aegis Network North told Prolific North:

“We have a strong relationship with Bruntwood and follow their new developments and growth with interest. As a successful and expanding business we occasionally review new property opportunities, however, at this stage we remain committed to the lease on our Portland Street office.”

Portland Street is also owned by Bruntwood.
