DeliveryApp has recruited a new Operations Director as it prepares to scale up.

The Manchester company said Phil Woodbridge’s appointment was a demonstration of its “rapid growth and ambition.”

“Phil’s experience in operational agility is exactly what we were looking for to catapult DeliveryApp into our next stage of growth,’ stated Lance Jones, CEO of DeliveryApp.

“With improving processes, introducing sustainability initiatives and reward schemes for our customers and drivers and ensuring that our industry-leading technology can continue to transform the market.”

Woodbridge’s background is in self-serving technology, chat bots and AI functionality:

“Consumers are looking for a 21st Century solution to delivery and logistics tracking, and drivers and couriers are looking for fair and flexible work with companies that can create a community to make them feel a part of something bigger,” he explained.

“After seeing the technology and community that DeliveryApp have created, I knew I wanted to be a part of the huge leap forward in the logistics space.”

DeliveryApp already has a network of over 16,000 drivers and plans to expand this even further throughout 2023 to keep up with growing demand from UK brands.
