Technology specialist Context Public Relations has been appointed as lead agency for user workspace management solution provider AppSense, having won the brief to manage its international media relations programme.
Context will work to enhance AppSense’s profile across end-user IT and the channel reseller press in the UK, USA, Germany, the Netherlands, France and Australia, managing a network of local partner agencies.
The contract has a specific media relations remit aimed at improving AppSense’s reputation as a reseller-friendly business and a leading innovator of virtualised desktop solutions. Activities will focus on thought-leadership articles, media tours, round-table events and case studies.
AppSense marketing director Stuart Noad said: “We were looking for a partner that was familiar with our market and had a track record of delivering results in the media that influence our channel partners and corporate IT departments to help us promote our message.”
Context director Craig Coward added: “AppSense has a strong proposition that will appeal to C-Level and IT alike as it takes away all the complexity and cost of managing desktop estates of all sizes. We, in turn, are helping AppSense remove the cost and complexity of managing PR campaigns across five different territories, keeping the messaging consistent throughout.”
