The Co-operative Group has confirmed to Prolific North that it is to review its media account.
The multimillion pound contract was held by Rocket, before transferring to sister agency, Hearts & Science, when Omnicom merged the 2 businesses and dropped Rocket as a standalone agency.
“We regularly review agency support to ensure we get the best support, which meets our strategic aims,” explained Alison Jones, customer director, Co-op.
“We’ll be consolidating our media agency buying and planning services to achieve this and a pitch will be held soon with support from our partner, Media Sense. As a member-owned business we always seek value for money to help build a stronger Co-op.”
