VibePay is gearing up for its official launch, with the appointment of Nicola Vidal is its Chief Marketing Officer.
Ths sister company of Vibe Tickets, was approved by the Financial Conduct Authority last month.
Vidal joins from ClearScore, where she’s been Head of Marketing since November. Prior to that she was Head of Commerce at giffgaff and Head of Marketing at Lebara. She’s also held senior positions at uSwitch and BSkyB as well as being Marketing Director of Wonga.
“This is a very exciting time to join VibePay and an amazing opportunity to work with an innovative challenger brand who puts their consumers at the forefront of their product. I can’t wait to launch later this year,” she said.
Massie established VibePay in May last year, at the same time as he bought his other company, Vibe Tickets, out of administration.
The mobile peer-to-peer payments app has been set up to allow users to organise events and request money from friends.
