Euro Car Parts has appointed Citypress as its lead social, trade and corporate PR adviser in the UK, following a competitive pitch.
The Manchester agency will deliver a series of integrated campaigns addressing the challenges facing the UK’s independent garage workshop sector – which is one of the firm’s core trade markets.
“Our trade customers face an unprecedented level of disruption from new car technology and shifting consumer habits. It’s our responsibility, as the biggest player in our sector, to help them to futureproof their businesses,” said Helen Robinson, Corporate Communications Director Euro Car Parts.
“Citypress grasped the scale of this challenge and pitched some exciting, engaging and original ideas for how we can support the independent workshop sector’s transformation.”
Euro Car Parts is part of Nasdaq-listed LKQ Corporation, and operates a nationwide network of more than 330 outlets.
“Euro Car Parts is a giant in the UK automotive industry and significant new addition to our stable of market-leading brands,” added Ricky Ambury, Director at Citypress.
“It has a unique communications challenge in trying to engage a highly fragmented and complex market of consumer audiences alongside thousands of independent garages in towns and cities across the UK.
“We’ll be leveraging our expertise in earned, social and content marketing to create compelling campaigns that connect these garages with Euro Car Part’s mission.”
