Bradford agency Xpand has won a “substantial” web development brief from international chocolatiers, Lindt & Sprungli.
The project will see Xpand, which recently celebrated its ninth birthday, develop a new online career pathways system to help Lindt retain personnel.
The system will help staff to create their own career path and the project could be rolled out to Lindt operations globally, including the USA and South Africa.
The opportunity arose from Xpand’s desire to give something back to the community. The JCI Bradford Easter egg appeal, through which Easter eggs were collected for disadvantaged children in the region, brought Xpand to Lindt’s attention via social media and led to the full-service marketing agency quoting for the project.
Jag Panesar, director at Xpand, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with a recognisable brand such as Lindt. The project presents some really exciting challenges that we can’t wait to get working on.
“This contract also represents the significant growth that Xpand has made over the last few years and the direction in which the company is going.”
Jenny Lawrence, HR director at Lindt, said: “We’re excited to be working with Xpand on this crucial project. When delivered, it will allow us to give our staff the information they need to build the career they want and improve our already high staff retention rates. After meeting with the Xpand team in May, we were confident that they were the right partner to choose to work on this project.”
