Ride Shotgun, the strategic marketing agency formed in January from the merger of Cry Havoc and Born + Raised, has hired a new Chief Growth Officer alongside a number of other appointments.
Richard Marriott takes up the senior role at the agency to lead its growth team, having previously been Head of Agency at Zazzle Media, which is part of Stickyeyes Group.
He will be responsible for driving forward sales and marketing at the agency – which has offices in Leeds, Sheffield, London and Portugal – having overseen strategic direction, operational activity and business development at Zazzle.
Marriott said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Ride Shotgun. As a business we’re in a really unique place; we have the agility and pace of a new business but with an incredibly well established and talented team, plus all the experience of the two former agencies.
“Alongside all of this, we’ve got some exciting developments in the pipeline and a great client roster to build from. The ever-growing team is evidence of our early success, so I’m looking forward to the journey!”
Further to Marriott’s hiring, the agency has announced the appointments of Liam Bruce and Danny More as Mid-weight Creatives; Greg Brauns as Lead Video Editor; and Caitlin Shortall as Senior Account Executive.
In recent months Ride Shotgun has also brought on-board Roxy Fielding as Business Development Director, and Sally Rushton as Strategy Director.
