Cheshire PR firm lands Radisson Blu’s London portfolio

Cheshire-based PR, social and events agency, LUYA, has been appointed PR partner for Radisson Blu’s portfolio of nine central London hotels.

The appointment is thanks to the agency’s extensive hotel experience including another of Axiom Hospitality’s venues, The Queen’s Hotel in Leeds and its ongoing relationship with Q Hotels Collection.

Radisson Blu prides itself on providing unparalleled service, comfort, and style while creating meaningful and memorable experiences. The nine-strong portfolio is situated in prime, central London locations, such as Seven Dials, Bloomsbury and Marble Arch.

Providing both accommodation and state of the art facilities, Radisson Blu London offers an exceptional experience for business and leisure travellers. Housed in both historical and purpose-built sites the portfolio consists of a diverse group of architecturally unique design-led hotels.

LUYA is working across all elements of Radisson Blu, with a primary focus on targeting a wider demographic and boosting their press and social presence. LUYA will support the internal marketing team to drive brand awareness nationally and internationally through media relations, social media support, campaign activations and creative content creation.

Radisson Blu is the second hotel brand operated by Axiom Hospitality that LUYA has been appointed to work on, the first being the historic Queens Hotel in Leeds, which has recently undergone a successful rebranding exercise.

Emma Figge, head of marketing & brand, at Axiom Hospitality said: “We are delighted to be working with LUYA on our newly acquired Radisson Blu London portfolio. With the team demonstrating fantastic results for another one of our hotels, we are looking forward to building on our partnership and placing Radisson Blu London firmly at the forefront of people’s minds when taking a city break in the capital.”

The appointment comes after a strong year for the agency, with a series of high-profile wins including being appointed PR partner for international homewares brand, Søstrene Grene as part of their ambitious UK roll-out strategy.

In addition, after working with Inspired Villages on regional PR since 2017, LUYA was appointed to also manage national PR earlier this year. Backed by Legal & General and NatWest Pensions, Inspired Villages is a later-living operator and developer with 10 luxury retirement villages across the UK, with a blueprint for continued expansion.

The agency has also commenced a contract with the country’s leading developer of city-wide innovation ecosystems, and the largest dedicated property platform for the UK knowledge economy, Bruntwood SciTech on their innovative West Village site in Leeds.

Managing Director of LUYA, Laura Fearnall, comments: “With strong experience in everything hospitality and leisure, we’re extremely proud and humbled that Axiom Hospitality has appointed us to work on their latest campaign.

“It’s testament to the team here at LUYA that clients come back time and time again and we have some really exciting plans up our sleeve for Radisson Blu.”
