From the latest emerging trends in tech and digital to agency masterclasses, there’s plenty of exciting fringe events taking place across Digital City Festival week.
Returning to Manchester from 15 to 19 April, Digital City Festival is the annual event series that unites the digital and tech sectors from across the North and beyond.
Aside from the key anchor events organised by the team at Prolific North, a number of businesses and individuals are hosting their own fringe events so you can immerse yourself in the world of tech, creativity, networking, and everything in between.
Here’s the line-up of fringe events taking place during Digital City Festival so far. Please note, all events are ticketed separately.
Triple your agency’s revenue – the agency founder masterclass
When: Tuesday 16 April, 10am – 12pm

Organised by 2Y3X, this is an interactive fringe event for ambitious leaders looking to grow their agencies.

Manchester Cybersecurity Meetup
When: Wednesday 17 April, 5.30pm to 8.30pm

Organised by GFT, this special fringe event marks the second cybersecurity meetup in the event series. Each meetup includes a keynote speaker and an ‘Interesting Thing’. The ‘Interesting Thing’ ranges from an innovative security update or project update from GFT or meetup members.
At the event, expect to discuss all things security innovation and discover how security professionals are tackling day-to-day problems in the industry.
GFT’s chair for this event will be Simon Newton, who leads GFT’s security practice. He has over 20 years of experience in various areas of IT and business verticals, including advertising, financial services, IT consulting and management.
