Charity begins at home for Corecom Consulting

The Corecom team

Leeds IT Recruitment Company Corecom Consulting is kicking off 2023 by making £25,000 available across the organisation to its employees to help with the increases in the cost of living.

Jonathan Sanderson, MD at Corecom Consulting said: “Our employees’ wellbeing is very important to us, and we hope that this measure will help alleviate the pressures of this unprecedented increase in the cost of living. Obviously, the cost of living crisis is on our employees’ minds at the moment, and they don’t lose that thought when they come into work. We as a company thought through what more we could do to support and help our employees.”

Sanderson added that Corecom also plans to stand by its charity partners as the cost of living bites. Corecom joined children’s cancer charity Candlelighters ‘Team 500’ in 2020, a community of businesses each committed to raise £500 per year. As a member of Team 500, Corecom hosts a range of events and activities to raise much needed funds for Candlelighters. It will also continue working this year with Moonlight Trust, a humanitarian charity based in Dewsbury providing much needed aid and educational projects for refugees across the globe, and the Leeds and Bradford Community Foundation Trust 100 Club, which is involved in philanthropic activities across the region.

Sanderson added: “In these unprecedentedly tough economic times, it is a very good time to remember that generous employers often receive much in return.”
