Sportswear brand, Castore, has opened a new automated distribution centre in the North West.
The 111,327sq ft site will be able to handle over 500k units each day and generate up to 150 new jobs.
It stated that the “ultramodern” centre will feature advanced robotic technology, so that it can “amplify” its omnichannel logistics.
“This major investment demonstrates Castore’s commitment to continued growth and we are incredibly proud to be creating additional jobs in the North West through this project,’ said Tom Beahon, Co-Founder at Castore.
“The additional capacity and enhanced technology within the new facility will further advance our operational capabilities as we continue to grow Castore into a global brand.”
The company also has DCs in the Netherlands, United States and Australia.
