MediaCityUK-based agency Carousel PR & Events has marked its fifth anniversary with a series of new account wins and new hires.
Headed up by joint MD Gawen Higgins, Carousel has been appointed by the inaugural Bluedot festival, taking place this summer at Jodrell Bank.
Other new festival wins for 2016 are Snowbombing in Mayrhofen Austria, Glass Butter Beach in North Wales and Summer Days in Clitheroe.
Gawen Higgins said: “We have a solid track record in this sector and are lucky enough to work across a critically acclaimed range of festivals and events, including the award winning Festival Number 6, Liverpool Biennial and Sound City. The new additions to our festival portfolio strengthen our position as one of the leading agencies in this sector.”
Other recent wins for the agency include new projects for MOSI, Roald Dahl at Tatton Park, the Bride Show and The Brewery in Cheltenham.
Higgins added: “With myself, Jen Higgins and Rebecca Barnes heading up the senior team, we’ve retained a great client rosta during our first five years, including Selfridges, Savills and MGA. Our newest wins are testament to the fantastic talent we’ve attracted to the agency over the years and the low staff turnover.”
Recent hires include account manager Rebecca Newman, who has relocated from London agency Chloe Nelkin Consulting, account executive Jessica Smith, who joins from Weber Shandwick and account executive Jessica Collier, who moves from Lexis.
