Manchester digital marketing agency Candidsky has launched a new, shared-risk SEO and PPC model to tackle performance anxiety for brands in uncertain times.
The new model, called Performance+, offers businesses the chance to take a shared-risk approach with the agency, whereby they share the risk and reward that comes with SEO and PPC activity.
According to Candidsky, typical agency models charge by the hour and the amount you pay for SEO & PPC really depends on the size of your website, service offering and competitor activity with agency fees ranging from £4,000 – £15,000 pcm.
This traditional approach can work well, but businesses often feel limited by their agency’s proactiveness. When your hours run out, your performance and marketing comes to a halt – limiting revenue potential.
The performance+ model eradicates this as it includes no hourly limits and costs a lower monthly fee in exchange for a commission based reward system. That means when businesses do well off
the back of the agency’s marketing activity, it gets a percentage of the revenue generated. If the campaigns don’t perform well only the lower base fee is payable which covers our staff costs – essentially making Candidsky almost like an in-house marketing team.
Candidsky’s account director, David Vernon, said: “In a time where marketing budgets are being squeezed, this is the perfect time to launch our new performance+ offering, which we’ve been working on since 2020. After a successful trial of this model, I’m very excited to launch this offering to the wider market and can’t wait to see how this develops over the coming months/years.”
