Callcredit Information Group has announced that a “small number of employees” will be made redundant, following a restructure.
The Leeds-based firm said that it was making changes to its marketing solutions division, because of “regulatory developments in the marketing data marketplace.”
As a result it will be focusing on 4 key areas: Customer Data Management; Customer Insight; Marketing Databases; and Customer Engagement. It will also merge its 4 sales teams into 1.
In a statement, it said:
“As a result of this restructure, Marketing Solutions will need a smaller, more focused team with specific skillsets to implement the new strategy and grow the business. Unfortunately this means that the company needs to reduce the number of employees working in its Marketing Solutions business and has regrettably entered into a period of consultation with a small number of employees.”
Callcredit has announced that Steve McNicholas will be leading the division during the restructure. The former sales operations director has been at the company for 4 years and now takes on the role of managing director of the marketing solutions division.
He replaces Will Lowe, who was only appointed in January last year. Lowe left to “pursue other opportunities.”
“I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate Steve on his appointment,” said Chris Green, chief commercial officer, Callcredit Information Group, “and to thank Will for his leadership of Marketing Solutions and wish him every success in his future career.”
Callcredit owns agencies including Latitude and Numero.
