Bruntwood SciTech, the UK’s leading property and innovation services provider dedicated to driving the growth of the science and technology sector, has been announced as partnering with Prolific North this year.
It joins leading Northern businesses from across the industry including CreativeRace, Bolser, No Brainer and Better Placed in getting behind the region’s digital, tech and creative sectors with Prolific North, taking part in a range of opportunities with the publisher.
Partners this year will join industry events throughout the year, provide thought leadership and editorial contributions, feature prominently online and more, forming an important part of Prolific North’s work.
Deb Hetherington, Head of Innovation Services for Bruntwood SciTech said: “Prolific North is at the forefront of the news agenda for tech, digital and creative businesses and is in a unique position that it reaches across the whole of the North of England, connecting news and insights from businesses based in these great cities together.
“Bruntwood SciTech is creating a network of thriving innovation districts and connected clusters for science and tech businesses across the UK with our most established ecosystems in Manchester, Leeds and Cheshire in places such as Manchester Science Park, Circle Square, ID Manchester, Alderley Park, and Platform in Leeds so it makes complete sense for us to work more closely with Prolific North as we share a like-minded priority for connectivity and raising awareness of these essential sectors and their importance to the UK economy.”
Bruntwood SciTech, launched in 2018 as a joint venture between property company Bruntwood and Legal & General, is committed to developing ecosystems to support the growth of the UK science and tech sector, and the creation of 40,000 high-value jobs over the next ten years.
Their network of innovation districts spans 10 campuses across Manchester, Leeds, Cheshire, Liverpool, Birmingham and Cambridge – and they have today announced their expansion into Glasgow to create a new tech scale-up cluster hub there.
They support more than 500 start-up, scale-up and international businesses to grow through sector-specialist Innovation Services support – including access to skilled STEM talent, accelerated new market access, funding and finance support, and professional services advice.
In January, it announced its plans to expand, targeting “new locations, supporting cities, businesses, universities, and clinical and research bodies through [their] unique partnership-led approach,” after having grown turnover by 30% to more than £50 million.
