The BBC will show England’s World Cup quarter-final against Sweden on Saturday.
The broadcaster, which had the first two picks of the last eight, will also show Brazil v Belgium on Friday. This is the first time England have made the quarter-finals of a World Cup since 2006.
ITV, who had the first two picks of the last 16 and the semi-finals, will show Uruguay v France on Friday and Russia v Croatia on Saturday.
They televised England’s thrilling penalty shoot-out win against Colombia last night, which is predicted to be the most-watched event of the year so far.

Uruguay v France – Friday 6th July, 3pm ITV
Brazil v Belgium – Friday 6th July, 7pm BBC
Sweden v England – Saturday 7th July, 3pm BBC
Russia v Croatia – Saturday 7th July, 7pm ITV
