The Real Housewives of Cheshire will return in August with a two-part special exploring the menopause airing on ITVBe and ITV Hub, ahead of a 15th full season of the reality show later in the year.
Real Housewives of Cheshire is produced by Monkey Kingdom, whose portfolio also includes unscripted, factual and reality titles including Made in Chelsea and TFI Friday. David Granger is executive producer for Monkey, with Emma Kosminsky as producer and director.
Monkey Kingdom is part of Universal International Studios, while the Real Housewives franchise is owned by UIS parent NBCUniversal. The franchise currently features 11 city-specific US versions and 20 international spin offs stretching from Cheshire to Athens and Dubai. The Cheshire show is the longest-running of the international versions.
Current housewives from the show Lauren Simon, Seema Malhotra, Rachel Lugo, Nicole Sealey, Lystra Adams and Sheena Lynch will candidly share their menopausal coping strategies in the special editions of the show.
Throughout the two-part special, The Real Housewives will also be on a mission to raise awareness and get the nation talking about the menopause through the social media campaign, #hotmess.
