Brazen wins Neville Johnson contract

New Brazen client Neville Johnson specialises in bespoke furniture and staircases

Brazen has been appointed by Neville Johnson, the luxury fitted furniture and staircase brand, to handle its retained consumer PR activity.

The appointment sees Brazen adding to a home portfolio which already includes Wilko, Silentnight and Scandinavian wall art design brand, Desenio.

Neville Johnson, which specialises in bespoke designs and services for clients, has tasked Manchester-based Brazen to increase its traditional and digital presence in editorial media and reach new homeowners who are looking to transform their properties, while driving continued awareness of the brand and its designers.

The consumer brief is already in full swing, and sees Brazen working alongside Neville Johnson’s SEO and digital teams on targeted PR campaigns for both its fitted-furniture and staircase business. The campaigns will be underpinned by a press office function covering both Neville Johnson’s people and products.

The debut campaign saw Brazen position Neville Johnson as the experts in adding value to the home, with the creation of a five-step guide, filled with tips and commentary for users, in partnership with a UK leading estate agent. As part of the agency’s link-building strategy, the guide was hosted on the website, and served as a bespoke package to media and influencers, generating increased SEO and an uplift in traffic.

Brazen MD, Sasha Marks, said: “At a time where people are wanting more from their properties than ever – including hybrid working and living spaces – there’s a real opportunity to put Neville Johnson at the heart of the growing ‘Don’t Move, Improve’ trend.”

James Tomlinson, group head of marketing at Neville Johnson, said: “We were immediately drawn to Brazen’s digital expertise, alongside the agency’s creativity and clear understanding of our brief. Our partnership has kicked off to a really strong start and we’re excited about what we can deliver together in the coming months.”
