Manchester-based Brazen has pipped two rivals to be the consumer PR and content marketing agency for The Jockey Club’s Haydock Park Racecourse.
Brazen is now tasked with the not insignificant job of positioning Haydock Park as the number one sports destination in the North West.
The brief will see Brazen support the relaunch of its Summer Saturday campaign, a series of events aimed to attract new audiences from millennials to families and everything in between.
Brazen will also be bringing to Haydock Park’s 120th anniversary this year, alongside a media relations and influencer programme.
Grant Rowley, The Jockey Club NW’s Communications Manager, said: “Haydock’s heritage, community and people are all part of its story – we wanted a creative storytelling agency who could bring all that to life. Our Summer Saturdays campaign is designed to remind people that Haydock Park is a fantastic day out for friends and family – we’re looking forward to seeing what Brazen can do!”
Brazen director, Sasha Marks, added: “A day at the races was often reserved for royalty or the rich and famous, but Haydock Park makes it accessible for everyone. And with the experience economy in growth, everything’s in our favour to make this summer, Haydock’s busiest in its 120 year history.”
The Jockey Club’s Haydock Park Racecourse account will be led by Brazen director, Sasha Marks. The consultancy’s in-house production team, Brazen LIVE, will create all content.
