Energy giant OVO has picked digital agency DEPT to lead on a variety of digital marketing and technology briefs, following a competitive pitch handled internally.
The scope also includes augmenting OVO’s internal creative studio with a pool of design and copywriting talent, to support customer marketing and communications.
DEPT will further be leading the reimagining of web presence for OVO, the UK’s leading green energy company with 4 million customers.
“As a B-Corp organisation, we’re excited to add OVO to our client roster. Even more thrilling is to be supporting them on such a plethora of projects which takes full advantage of DEPT’s full-service offering spanning marketing and technology services,” said Alicja Lloyd, managing director, DEPT UK.
“We’re proud to partner with DEPT to support our marketing team and build our brand presence externally. We’re really excited to see how their depth of talent in creative and tech can support what we’re doing to support customers and do justice to our brilliant products and services,” added Alice Tendler, director of brand and marketing, OVO.
The win builds on DEPT’s impressive recent business performance, which resulted in a 400 per centrevenue growth to over £50m in the past two years, and an expanded client roster following recent wins with Macallan, Mejuri, and Skyscanner. DEPT has also recently expanded its relationships with Trainline and eBay.
