Lancaster’s Two Stories has completed the rebrand for global out of home firm, Evolve.
The agency was appointed earlier this year to carry out the branding task, as well as designing and developing a website.
It was briefed to create a new brand identity to reflect the company’s growth and its offices in London, New York and Singapore.
“Evolve is an impressive, independent Out Of Home business that is challenging the industry. The company came to us to take it forward from a start-up logo to a complete brand, including visual identity and tone of voice, and then to align that across its all touchpoints. We have delivered a mature, vibrant brand and website that elevates Evolve and reflects its established position within the OOH industry,” said Bekkie Hull, co-founder and Creative Director at Two Stories.
Two Stories undertook research and workshops to focus on a story of “growth and progression.” This informed its new tone of voice and strapline – “a new class of Out Of Home.”
The agency changed its logo from lowercase typography and its original planetary-style graphic to a “confident, bold uppercase typography.”
It explained that this was “complemented by a new mature green, navy, purple and white colour palette, alongside a playful, vibrant pink accent colour that mirrors the exciting OOH industry.”
“The patience of Two Stories is remarkable. We’d never worked with a branding agency before, so we were naturally unaware of how extensive and in-depth a rebrand would be, but from the start Two Stories ensured that they engaged the team at the right moments and worked closely with us throughout the process,” said Danielle Austin, Managing Director at Evolve.
“Our rebrand is now complete and has been hugely successful; we look forward to continuing to work with Two Stories.”
The rebrand was launched alongside its new website, with its own OOH campaign featured at Leicester Square and the Meridian Steps at Westfield Stratford City, as well as at bus and train stations across London.
“It’s always exciting to see a rebrand go live but seeing Two Stories’ work writ large on the only commercial advertising screen in Leicester Square in London as Evolve launched was incredible,” said Hull.
