Boohoo co-founder Mahmud Kamani has been appointed as director at several Manchester businesses run by his son.
Mahmud’s son Adam was a co-founder of Pretty Little Thing, which was acquired by Boohoo in 2017. Kamani senior has now taken up a director’s role at The Four Model Management, The Pinstripe Property Investment Co, Kamani Construction, Equalunit, AMK Leonard Property Investment, Kamani Living and Rosylee Global Investments, all of which feature Adam as a director.
The Four Models Management agency has worked with big brands including French Connection, while Kamani Construction is with several multi-million pound projects across Manchester.
The new role at AMK Leonard Property Investment also sees Mahmud join his wife Aisha as director, alongside Adam.
Kamani senior is also a former director of viral publishing group LadBible. He stepped down as it prepared to launch its IPO in 2017.
