Manchester-headquartered online fashion retailer boohoo has announced the acquisition of a new £72m office in Soho which will serve as the home of the group’s London-based brands.
In a business update the AIM-listed company said the new location, at 10 Great Pulteney Street, is “intended to become home for all London-based product, marketing, technology and central support teams”.
It said the new location will offer flexible working for approximately 600 of its colleagues.
As of February last year the company had approximately 2,600 employees in total.
Along with its Manchester headquarters and new London location, the company has an operations centre in Burnley, a new factory planned in Leicester, and international addresses in Paris, Los Angeles.
On the move, the company cites growth following the acquisition of Karen Millen and Coast in 2019, and more recently Oasis, Warehouse, Debenhams, Dorothy Perkins, Burton and Wallis.
