James Pilkington, who’s worked at Creative Race and Savvy Marketing, has joined The Big Bamboo Agency as its new Head of Social.
He moves from The Individual Agency, where he held the same role. Pilkington has also worked in-house at Symington’s.
“I’ve heard a lot about Big Bamboo and have watched the agency’s growth with interest over the last six months. Having met Nicola and the rest of the team I was excited by the opportunity, especially given the impressive client portfolio they have, which incorporates some fantastic brand names,” he explained.
“I’m looking forward to getting my teeth into the role as the agency’s first Head of Social and to helping Big Bamboo continue to grow to the next level of its potential.”
In the newly created role, he’ll oversee the strategic direction of all social media platforms and associated content strategies for its clients.
