Beattie Group, which has offices in Leeds and Manchester, says it’s added fees of almost £1m since the start of the year.
The income is shared across 4 of its brands, Only Marketing, 11ten, Beattie Communications and Canada-based Beattie Tartan. It comes following a promise to spend more than £500k on a marketing drive to “counteract the impact of Brexit.”
“Despite talk of a global recession and the uncertainty of Brexit in the UK, January was our best new business month in more than a year,” said CEO Laurna Woods.
“We have been spending big on our marketing and it is paying dividends in terms of new business with seven new clients coming on board in January.”
While Beattie wouldn’t name the new companies, it said they included “a global consumer brand, an online retailer, an animal health brand, a European university and a North American data company.”
“We’ve also had a boost from existing clients who are investing more in their marketing,” added Woods.
