Beattie Communications is branching out into Spain, with a new Learning Academy for staff and clients.
The agency, which has offices in Manchester and Leeds, is investing £1.5m in the renovation of a former farmhouse overlooking the Mediterranean. It comes complete with indoor and outdoor classrooms – plus of course a swimming pool and enough olive groves to keep the guests happy.
“Our goal is to make learning as exciting and enjoyable as possible,” explained Manchester boss, Lyndsey Evans.
“So what better place than Spain to establish our Learning Academy. The availability of cheap travel from airlines, such as our client easyJet, and the current affordability of property in Spain, prompted us to make the investment.”
The Academy will be used for international clients and staff from all Beattie offices to take part in marketing training.
And to think there were jealous glances towards McCann Manchester when they opened a pub…
